The Mary Elizabeth House is a Ministry dedicated to the healing and sustainability of two generations through providing The Talitha Koum Program for young mothers who have aged out of foster care and their children. We seek community who would like to be involved!
Dear Supporters,
The Mary Elizabeth House will host our September Volunteer Day, and we warmly invite you—our supporters and volunteers—to be part of something truly meaningful.
Located in the heart of Washington, DC, The Mary Elizabeth House provides more than just shelter. We are a place of safety, growth, and healing for young mothers—many aging out of foster care or experiencing homelessness—and their children. Through our transitional housing program, families find the stability they need to rebuild their lives and move toward long-term independence.
This day is an opportunity to come alongside these families and help us create a clean, welcoming, and nurturing environment. Your time and presence will directly support the well-being of the mothers and children we serve.
Join us as a volunteer on September 19 as we refresh our space and invest in a community built on dignity, stability, and hope.
